Password Attack

Password Attack

A password attack is simply when a hacker tries to steal your password in order to access your files, folders, account, or computer using the password.

How to prevent password attacks.

Use a password manager to make sure your passwords are unique, strong and hard to crack, Ensure your password has a minimum of 8 characters and contains special characters, capital letters, and small letters. You shouldn’t use guessable words or names like your nickname, pet’s name, favorite food, holiday destination, birth dates, etc. People who know you personally might crack such passwords.

Also use unique passwords for every account, device, and file. Otherwise, hackers might use the credential stuffing technique to attempt password attacks.
